Governor Jon Corzine Joins Legal Fight to Allow Sports Betting in New Jersey and other States
It has been officially announced that governor Jon Corzine has formally joined the legal fight to overturn the federal ban on sports betting in forty five states as well as his state, New Jersey. Just before July began Corzine announced he was giving his support to the lawsuit filed in March by Senator Raymond Lesniak. This lawsuit claims the federal prohibition of sports betting discriminates against the forty six states where it is imposed. (03/07)
