Delaware May Soon Offer Residents Sports Betting Options

New circumstances have arose that may see Delaware lawmakers approve sports betting for the state. The nearby state of Maryland has now voted to create five slot machine facilities that would most certainly compete with Delaware’s three racinos that use slot revenue to stay afloat. Ireland Online Betting Stays Tax Free

Brian Lenihan, the Minister of Finance for Ireland, has stated that online and telephone betting will remain tax-free as other sports betting venues will have taxes raised slightly. GigaMedia have reported a strong increase in revenues in the third quarter and have stated they will be launching an Everest branded sports betting product by the end of this year.
