Betting on NASCAR Begins This Week
Race fans are revving up for this year’s first Daytona five hundred race. With just one week to go fans are placing their bets to see who will win and where others will place. The excitement is mounting as the cars will soon be qualifying for their starting positions. NASCAR begins each new season with a large Daytona 500 race that all the fans are excited to attend and the racers are excited to win. Mark Martin is creating quite a stir as he qualified in second in the time trials this past weekend. Martin has not raced a full season in the past two years.
Martin Truex Jr. won the pole for the upcoming race with a lap of 188.001 and Martin was close behind with a time of 187.817. The rest of the field will not be announced until Thursday. Several team changes have also stirred up this seasons fan base and racing status.
Tony Stewart left Joe Gibbs racing after being behind the wheel for the past ten years. Stewart now owns his own team and drives the fourteen car. Stewart placed tenth in the qualifying time this past weekend.
