Bookmakers Pick Tiger to win 139th Open Championship
Online bookmakers have made their picks for the 139th Open Championship and they have chosen Tiger Woods to win the event. The championship will be taking place at the Old Course at St. Andrews and this is the oldest of the major championship events.

Tiger has won the event as St Andrews before back in 2005 and bookmakers have picked him to win yet again. Bwin has the pro winning the event at 3/1 odds while Coral has the pro at 9/2 odds to take the event.

ExtraBet, ToteSport and Bodog have Tiger winning the event 5/1 while Boyle Sports, BetFred, PaddyPower, StanJames and Bet365 have Tiger claiming the win with odds of 11/2. With longer odds of 6/1, Victor Chandler, Ladbrokes, Sky Bet, 888Sport, Sporting Bet, WBX, William Hill and BlueSq have the pro winning the tournament.

Also in the running to win the event is Rory Mcllroy. Rory has odds of 14/1 to win the event at BetFred while BetDaq has the pro at 147/10 odds to win the event. Coral, Ladbrokes, Bet365, ExtraBet, Bodog, Sporting Bet, William Hill, BlueSq, ExtraBet, WBX, Sky Bet, 888Sport and ToteSport have the pro at 16/1 odds.

If the odds are true and Tiger takes the Championship win then he will be the eleventh man in history to have won the event four or more times. This is an amazing feat and it will be interesting to see if Tiger can succeed.
