Bookmakers Set Darvin Moon as Favorite for WSOP Win
With the November Nine set for the World Series of Poker Main Event Final Table, online bookmakers are now making their picks on who will win. The current favorite among online bookies is the amateur player Darvin Moon. Moon is from Maryland and works as a self-employed logger. He will be the chip leader when he returns to the poker table in November and because of his chip lead, bookmakers have set him as the favorite to win.
BlueSq, 888Sport and Ladbrokes has him at 5/2 odds while VictorChandler has him at 11/4 odds. The second favorite is Eric Buchman who is sitting at 10/3 odds at VictorChandler while BlueSq, 888Sport and Ladbrokes has him at 4/1 odds.
Poker pro Phil Ivey is right there with them as a close favorite to win. He has odds of 11/2 at
BlueSq and 888Sport while Ladbrokes has him at 6/1 and VictorChandler has him at 13/2 odds. If one were to ask poker fans or pros they would most likely say that Ivey has the best chance of winning.
It will be interesting to see how it all plays out in November. It would be a great if an amateur won the event as he would have outlasted a very talented field throughout the competition and shown great skill in the game.
