Cantor Gaming receives license for sports wagering at Palms Casino
Cantor Gaming just announced they have now received their final approval for licensing in the state of Nevada which will allow them to offer racing and sports betting options at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas. The group was approved by the Nevada Gaming Commission and Gaming Control Board this week for licensing. Since Cantor Gaming has received the final approvals, they will now be able to offer a race and sports book at the casino. The operations are set to begin on February 7th. Cantor Gaming wants to offer gamblers a sports and race book that will use the latest technology as well as offer the most convenient way to place wagers.
The operation will include mobile sports wagering as well as proprietary wireless gaming systems. The group will begin construction again this April and will be finished by the 2012 NFL Season. Before this time, the group will be offering their services from an ancillary sports-only book which will be on the main floor near the Mint High Limit Lounge.
Lee M. Amaitis the president and CEO of Cantor Gaming commented on the option by stating: “We are delighted to have received regulatory approval quickly, enabling us to operate at Palms in time for March Madness, which is an exciting period for sports betting patrons. We look forward to working with Palms and unveiling a spectacular new sports book later this year which offers sports betting fans a luxury, first class betting experience.”
