The M Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada has started something so innovative that other casinos in the area should catch on very soon. The casino has started offering a handheld unit that bettors can make sports bets on while they are away from the sports books.

The unit is the size of a phone and it includes sports betting, baccarat and blackjack. Those who have established accounts can use the device without going to the sports book or gaming table. The M Resort added this feature to offer great customer service.

The new unit is called an EDeck and it offers in-game sports betting which allows players to add new bets or change their existing bets as the game progresses. Cantor Gaming developed the units and they are equipped with several layers of security which guarantees the intended players can access their account, and only that player.

Sunny Tara of Cantor Gaming commented: “The portable devices are sophisticated, but they really are just tools to access the real technology, which sits on the servers.” The new device is pretty much the same as mobile gaming on cell phones.
