Betbull plc and bwin Interactive Entertainment joined together last year to form Betbull bwin Espana SA, a Spanish business venture. Since that time the company has been trying to receive a betting license in the province of Madrid. The company has now secured that license and can now begin their branded stores and third party points of sale under the w1nners brand.

Betbull bwin Espana had already created a headquarters in Madrid and that is where all the bookmaking services and administration will be provided. A management team has already been created from the last six months to prepare for planned openings.

Simon Bold, the director of Betbull plc, commented on the licensing: “We are happy to announce the grant of our retail license in Madrid, the company has worked hard to fulfill the requirements of the Madrid Licensing Authority and now feels confident to apply for licenses in
other Provinces as and when legislation permits.
