Although they could not bet on the actual race, NASCAR fans enjoyed their time at the Dover International Speedway where a race took place recently. NASCAR fans were decking out in their racing gear to enjoy the race and also place a few parlay bets on the NFL.

The weekend was a wet one, so as officials were drying the race track, fans were inside the new sports book at Dover Downs, many of which were placing their first ever bets. Dover Downs supplies customers with parlay betting which means people can wager only on three games or more.

A Tony Stewart fan, Brian Mackay, commented that he enjoyed the sports book even though he could not bet on the NASCAR race. Mackay stated he felt like he was back in high school as he marked his betting card.

Many of the fans thought the sports book would be nice but not as big as it was. Several of the weekend visitors stated they would definitely be back to get in on the Parlay action, some stated they would come back even if there was no race taking place. This is a great step for sports betting in the state and hopefully it will only continue to get better.
