The new Championship soccer season is set to begin in less than a month in England and bookies are already picking their favorites to be promoted for next year. The three teams that are regulated from the Premiership last season are the picks for the online bookies.

Under the Premiership, the Championship is the second-tier of soccer in England. Three teams are promoted into the higher division each season in place of a trio of relegated sides.
The new season is set to begin on August 8th and the Newcastle United led the bookmaker’s picks. Online bookmaker Coral has them listed at 13/10 odds to be promoted back to the Premiership this season.

Ladbrokes, SkyBet, StanJames, 888Sport and PaddyPower have them at 11/8 odds while BoylesSports has the team at 21/10 odds. The second favorite is the Middlesbrough team with odds of 7/4 at Ladbrokes and StanJames. BetFred and BetDaq has 15/8 odds while
Betfair has 45/23 odds for the MIddlesbrough team.

The third team picked by online bookies is the West Bromwich Albion team. This team sits at 13/8 odds by Ladbrokes and BoyleSports, Bluesquare, StanJames and 888Sport 7/4.
