Patriots Favored for Next Year’s Super Bowl
Even before the 2009 Super Bowl has kicked off, Las Vegas Odds makers are saying that the New England Patriots will win next year’s Super Bowl. The Patriots did not even make the playoffs this year but odds makers feel they stand a great chance next year.

Las Vegas Sports Consultants have placed the Patriots with 6-1 odds as favorites. Pittsburgh is next in line with 7-1 odds but they are the odds favorite this year to win the Super Bowl. Next in line for next year’s Super Bowl are New York Giants and Indianapolis Colts with 8-1 odds.

Most likely the Patriots received such good odds is that Tom Brady is on the mend and should return for the next season. Tom missed the majority of this season due to a knee injury which he has stated is going really well.

This year’s Super Bowl underdog the Arizona Cardinals are favored 25-1 with fifteen different teams ahead of them. The biggest underdog would be the Detroit Lions who are at 150-1 odds.

It will be interesting to see if the teams live up the odds that have been stacked against them. It is no doubt that the teams will begin preparing for the new season soon and may possibly surprise odds makers.
