William Hill and Sky Bet have both signed agreements with Mfuse, a mobile technology specialist. Mfuse will provide both companies with mobile sports betting services that should launch later this year. Each company has signed a different type of agreement with Mfuse for the services.

Sky Bet customers will now be able to watch Sky Sports at the same time they are placing an in-play bet on their phone. With the new service in-play betting is now a major feature as the Mfuse NOVO Transact platform continually updates all data in a real time fashion. The new service will also provide customers with fixed odds, spread and exchange forms of betting.

The Managing Director of Sky Betting and Gaming, Richard Flint stated that the new agreement is an exciting opportunity for the company and they choose Mfuse because “they have the most experience in producing a mass market and robust solution, which is essential for Skybet”.

The contract signed by William Hill is agreed upon for three years. William Hill will use Mfuse’s mobile provisioning and transaction technology to provide a similar functionality to the online service of the company. This includes in-running betting, credit/debit deposit and withdrawals as well as complex bet types. New customers will be able to register with William Hill by using their mobile phone since Mfuse has linked their platform directly to the existing William Hill back-end system.
