Sportingbet Plc is a British online gaming company who recently decided to sponsor the Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club. Sportingbet Plc signed a two year club sponsorship deal this past Tuesday to support the football club.

Sportingbet released a statement commented that the sponsorship would begin in June of this year and is worth over seven figures. Sportingbet also stated that this will be the biggest sponsorship agreement the Wolves have ever signed and they have been in business for one hundred and thirty two years.

Sportinnbet’s website will become the official betting partner for the club and they will also sponsor the website for the Wolves. The Wolves shirts and technical training kits will feature the Sportingbet logo and the Sportingbet logo will also appear at the Molineux Stadium, home of the Wolves.

It will be interesting to see if the new sponsorship will help Sportingbet. The company has seen a drop in shares by 1.1 percent. Football creates about sixty five percent of Sportingbet revenue so hopefully the new deal will help the drop in shares.
